I can drag the text widget to the sidebar, but it doesn’t give me the option of entering any text.

there is small arrow on right click on it.

I click the arrow but it does nothing.

There must be conflict on one of the plugins have tried to deactivate plugins and see if that solves the problem then activate one at time and which one is causing the problem.
