Text Slider plugin Sought

I am helping a friend convert a godaddy/non WP site to WP.
There is a text slider on part of the home page. It has 3 slides, starting with:
“ADVICE YOU CAN RELY ON” …
How can I find a WP equivalent, and how would I set it up – as a widget on the home page?
