Text formatting problem

I’m having a weird spacing problem. WP doesn’t hold the formatting of text. It doesn’t seem to hold forced line breaks or spaces after a sentence. All the text runs together with no separate paragraphs.

The theme I’m using is cutline-3column, but I don’t think that is the problem. I think it is in WP itself. I format, then save and the forced line breaks and spaces after sentences go away.

In the WYSIWIG window it looks okay, then I look at the code window and it’s all run together. I make the changes in the code window and it doesn’t hold. When I post it looks like what’s in the code window
