Hi, I was trying to built a reclaiming box for text that has frames/boarders. It worked, I can use the box, but when I use the box and add new text, I just see the plain box and no text. Is it possible to create just a box with styling where the text can change in every article it is used?

    Greetings Kathrin

  • Hi there,

Is it possible to create just a box with styling where the text can change in every article it is used?

    The pro version has this.

For the free version, you either:

Add “additional CSS class(es)” class to it and write the custom CSS for it manually.

    Or,

Place the reclaiming box block on a container block and save that container block as a reusable block.

This way you can use the reusable blocks on other pages by adding the reusable block and then drag the reclaiming box block out of reusable block.

And when you publish the page, make sure you don’t save the reusable block so it doesn’t get overwritten and keeps a copy of the reclaiming box block in it. 😀

Oh my God, I think I have always overwritten the reuseable block. I have saved the container block as a reuseable block. But how I drag out the reclaiming bock block out of the reuseable block?

    Greetings Kathrin

    Here’s an example video – https://share.getcloudapp.com/yAurgy4G

In this video, I’ve placed a reusable block named “Accordion”.

Within this reusable block is a container block w/ a few buttons and headings.

What I did was to select the container that holds all the contents and dragged it out of the reusable block that holds it.

And then when I saved, I made sure “Accordion” was unchecked so it doesn’t get overwritten, meaning I can reuse the “Accordion” version w/ the contents on other pages.

    Hi @topfgartenwelt ,

This thread has been marked as resolved due to a lack of activity.

You’re always welcome to re-open this topic if you need more help.

    Thanks!
