    Hi there
I am trying again for the second time after months to set up for use your plugin, using the free Brevo option.
After a test mail failing THIS time, I decided to delete the key and create a new one and retry.
I however keep getting this error message:

    Versions:
    WordPress: 6.9
    WordPress MS: No
    PHP: 8.3.28
    WP Mail SMTP: 4.7.1

    Params:
    Mailer: sendinblue
    Constants: No
    API Key: Yes

    Debug:
E-Mail-Quelle WP Mail SMTP Mailer: Brevo unauthorized: Key not found

I am quite confused by what the error message means. Which key?
How can I solve the problem so mails can be sent on a simple a contact page?

Actually before I used to use the many different contact forms available at WordPress, but none works now, and I have been told smtp is required but have failed to get any to work. This is a small site that cannot for now use the paid SMTP pro versions and components.

Your assistance will be highly appreciated.

    Kind regards

    Hi @xprt007

    Thanks for reaching out.

    Unauthorized: Key not found

This error message means that your Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) API key is invalid. In other instances when we’ve seen this, it means you most likely copied only part of your API key, like this

Please head over to your Brevo SMTP & API settings page and delete your existing API key.

Then you can add a new API key, copy the full key, and update the WP Mail SMTP > Settings page.

Once you’ve completed those steps, try sending a test email from WP Mail SMTP > Tools.

I hope this helps. Thanks 🙂
