    Hey there flow,

    How are you doing today?

Lossy compression is available only in the premium version of the plugin by using Super-Smush which uses that specific compression so in case you’re using premium version you can try it out by going to Media -> WP Smush and checking Super-Smush Images option, see screenshot http://screencast.com/t/cwpV6Bv3oPtN.

Otherwise the default one that is being used in the free version of the plugin is lossless.

If you have any additional questions please let me know 🙂

    Best regards,
    Bojan

    Hi Bojan,

I realize I can test it when I buy the plugin. But I would like to see the quality before I buy, like I can do with tinyjpg, zara4, jpegmini, etc.

Thing is, it’s very important that the image quality is high enough, and most engines I tried so far compress too much (there are some that are good though so i’ll def go with lossy – it’s just a matter of finding the one that has the best balance for us).

    Thanks.
