• I created a newsite with a wordpress template and had it looking great. I created it in a sub-folder on the live site. Currently the site is running Joomla. I tried to switch it over to wordpress and move the files but couldn’t get it to work. The new site is still in a sub-folder, but now it’s not displaying properly – it’s all text (http://cottagebrookhomes.com/newsite/) I tried to have the siteground people do the move for me and this is how I found it after they worked on it. I’m not sure what to do! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Your site was not moved correctly…. it is looking for the stylesheet here

    http://cottagebrookhomes.com/wp-content/themes/anthology_v1.4.1/style.css

but since your site is in the /newsite folder it should be looking in

    http://cottagebrookhomes.com/newsite/wp-content/themes/anthology_v1.4.1/style.css

I believe your settings in your admin panel at settings->general are not correct

I’m sorry I don’t understand. I want put the new wordpress site to open under “cottagebrookhomes.com” not “cottagebrookhomes.com/newsite”. How do I make that happen?
