[Template] Gaps different above header, below footer

Hi folks,

Can anyone help shed some light on why, when creating a template, as I have done here, the gaps below the footer are different to those on the main blog (and every other non-templated page on my site)? Also, in IE, the gap above the header, in addition to that below the footer, differs on my templated page.

I’ve been following the page.php theme file exactly, with exception of the javascript bits I wanted to included on this template page, but I can’t get it to look the same. Any ideas on why these gaps are different would be very much appreciated, thanks.
