  • I believe its version 4.6 – cant remember

I installed a new template guakingo. The site broke and I could not get back.

So I deleted that specific template’s folder via ftp.

It was rash, I see that now. But everything has been working flawlessly for so long, and I just got very fed up with the old template. Stupid, stupid.

Please, what do I do to have my site open – on a default template, or any – so I can clean up my mess?

    thank you

Head to Appearance > Themes in your site’s Dashboard and activate any other installed theme.

If you don’t have any installed themes, go to Appearance > Themes > Add New and install and activate Twenty Sixteen, which was the default theme for WordPress 4.6.

it took a while for it to take hold, several tries actually, but it did. I thank you. Must have lost my head somewhere. Only been doing Wp for 10 years now.

I realise some other things are broken too.

    A quiestionarie gives this message

    …/kkblog/wp-content/plugins/totalpoll-lite/includes/classes/limitations.php on line 215…

I can open it up, but it doesn’t tell me anything.

Now I am travling the site front-ned, checking every entry… to see if anything else is broken.
