Technical Question: Bots and Google Analytics

    We have a client that is being spammed by bots from other countries and it is affecting their Google Analytics reports as the bots are showing as visits from these countries and showing inaccurate data for users and visits.

    I was wondering, in regard to WordFence and Google Analytics, if a country is blocked in WordFence Premium, does it block the bots coming from a countries IP address BEFORE it would hit the Goggle Analytics reports? This meaning the bot attempted to the access the site but WordFence blocks the bot before it can hit teh site and trigger a visit in Google Analytics?

    Country Blocking is a paid feature. We’re unable to discuss anything other than Wordfence Free here as wordpress.org kindly provide the forums for supporting that product.
