Hi,
Glad you like it!
1. Does it add value you specified in Handling Fee to the shipping price?
2. Did you enabl taxes by checking Enable Taxes checkbox at the Tax -> Tax Options tab?
3. Did you add something into the table at Tax -> Standard Rates tab?
Hi Dan,
1.Yes it does add the value (excl. tax) this shows up in the cart.
2.Yes
3. Yes
Hope you can help
Thanks,Dan
Just to be sure;
I’m using only the handling fee with min and max weight.
So I’m not using: Shipping Rate,Extra Weight Only,Weight Step….Just the “Fee excluding tax”. And I’ve selected the “taxable” option.
So when ordering, the prices are correct in the cart, but the standard tax rate isn’t added. So the shipping fee that shows up is without the tax added.
Just upgraded to your latest version 2.4.2. But this did not solve it.
Hope this makes it a bit more clear 🙂
Thanks
P.S.: it’s a live site and orders are coming in, but the tax on shipping has to be working. Hope you can help me out.

Thanks for the details.
Ok, I’m not sure if this related to this plugin actually. There are two taxes applied to the order: one for shipping price (if it’s set Taxable in admin panel, that’s your case), and second one for cart subtotal. Actually only first one is controlled by the plugin, second one isn’t affected by it.
So if you see that taxes added per cart subtotal but not added per shipping price than it’s maybe related to the plugin. Is that the case?
If yes, then please check if taxes work for built-in shipping methods. That would be good to find out what’s wrong here.
Ok, do you mean that I should activate the flat rate one? I’m not sure what you mean by “built-in shipping method”, thanks
Ok, I have tried that. I’ve putten in excl.tax 8.50 that should be 10.29 incl.tax (21%).
But also with this flat rate, it’s showing in the cart 8.50.

So it seems the issue is with your installation of WooCommerce.
I can try to investigate it and fix if needed for some reward. If you interested drop me line (click large Customize button on the plugin settings page).
Well, I’d like to prevent that there are other people working on the site. I have had very bad experiences with that. Sometimes some error shows up (or even the whole site collapsed one time) and then nobody knows who is responsible for it….but even worse; I have to find the problem and get it fixed…and my clients won’t accept that, you see?
If you are sure that it is not your plugin that is causing this, then perhaps I’ll have to add a shipping class to the admin, or figure something else out. It’s a shame, I was really looking foreward to use your plugin.
But if I really get stuck, I’ll might take you up on your offer 😉
Thanks

Yeah, I see. I have worked on client support very much. So I know that feel 😉
To make sure this plugin is not related (or is related, who knows) to the issue you can try to uninstall it and see what changed.
I’m marking this issue as resolved for now. If you have any further questions related to the issue feel free to write them here.
Hi Dan,
I am ashamed… 🙁
I just found out that I forgot that the tax row needs to have the ‘shipping’ column checked also, to state that its also a tax for shipping.
Everything is working fine now.
Sorry for waisting your time 🙁
Thank you for your support.
Kind regards,
Tynus

That’s OK 😉
Glad it works for you now.
I have my shipping checked on the tax table, yet it is still calculating the tax in the cart.
What am I doing wrong?!

It’s not obvious from your question what’s wrong. Could you clarify?
