Hi @waqasseo! Could you please share a screenshot of your tax setup and your system report with me. You can find the system report by going to WooCommerce > Status > Get system report and then click Copy for support to be able to paste it in your reply.
I took a look at your site but couldn’t see a VAT amount specified on checkout – https://d.pr/i/mPmHSW
Could you please share a screenshot if you’ve temporarily disabled this option?
One option is to use https://snipboard.io/ for easily sharing screenshots – please follow the instructions on the page, then paste the URL(s) in your reply.
Hi @waqasseo
I just read through your message once again, and I have a fair idea of what’s going on here.
I have enabled that i have entered the price, including the tax, but when I go to checkout it shows that VAT is €9,57 which is not 19% of $59.95.
– This is how it shows: €59,95 (INCL. VAT) But VAT Price is €9,57
– This is how it should be: €59,95 (INCL. VAT) – VAT (19%) – €11.39
So you have set the prices of the products to be entered, including tax. This setting means that the amount of €59,95 is the total price of the product (INCLUSIVE OF TAX). It’s the post-tax price, not the pre-tax price. The actual pre-tax cost of your product is €50,38. 19% of taxes added to the €50,38 pre-tax product price would come to: €9,57.
€50,38 + €9,57 = €59,95.
If you have set the option to enter product prices inclusive of taxes, WooCommerce will calculate product prices inclusive of tax. So the €59,95 includes a tax of €9,57, and that makes the pre-tax price: €50,38.
So, to summarize, this is not a problem with tax configuration on your site. Taxes are calculating as expected.
Does that make sense?
We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
