It should show up in the individual page of the download item.
Yeah, that’s what I thought as well, but somehow it doesn’t.
Furthermore, I can add a tagcloud-widget with the sdm-tags but when clicked they return a 404.
Any suggestions?

Same for me: Clicking on a tag results in a 404. 🙁
@czery can you disable all your other plugins except this one. Do you still receive a 404 error message when you click on the tags? Are you currently using any cache plugin?
Upon deactivating bbpress plugin the tag overview worked again. Strange thing: switched bbpress back on again and tag overview is still working.
