Tagline (Site Title) in wrong position…
-
Hi, Folks…
Hope you can help me out. I am total newbie, neither a computer expert nor a programmer. I have cruised around for my problem, and one little step I made: on my new blog (which runs as testserver with WP 3.01 version and with Hybrid (installed, but not activated) + Hybrid News theme) appears the “tagline” (or ‘site title’). Before it was not present there, only existed the big Blog title left side, and right side the header image.
I found following info herefor to implement it:
– http://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-add-blog-tagline?replies=3So I did… I changed the CSS (deleted
display:none;)… and implemented<?php bloginfo('description'); ?>in the header. But it looks aweful…. look the result on your own pls.

the site title “… a radio show for Indian (Music) Culture” appears right side above the image, which now is pressed down and only half seen. So it should not be.The site title shall be positioned as “sub title” of my blog name, as you can see it here in my old wordpress.com blog, which I used now for more than 2 years (Rec.: But now its time to setup my own wordpress.org system)…

(this blog is the old theme Andreas09 from 2006)What do I have to change to bring the site title under my Blog name “IMC – India meets Classic presents …“. It should be
1.) in smaller font size
2.) in different font type
3.) in same colour as the blog name
4.) alternatively in a different colour (rec. later the blog theme will be re-designed from this dark blue to another bright-light colour)Tks. already now…
P.S.: I do not know if you need the original Style Sheet code and the header.php code. Let me know, then I will post. Maybe one can handle it successfully without the details.
