What are the tables created by the WordPress Popular Posts plugin?

The WP-Optimize plugin is showing me:

    wp_popularpostsdata
    Belongs to: mh-board [not installed]

    wp_popularpostssummary
    Belongs to: wordpress-popular-posts

Is wp_popularpostsdata a leftover for an older version and is it safe to remove it?

    Thank you,

    Michael

    Hi Michael,

Nope. The wp_popularpostsdata table belongs to WordPress Popular Posts as well. Not sure why the WP-Optimize plugin says otherwise, maybe it’d be a good idea to report the issue to the developer.

Basically, this table stores the total views count of each post & page on your site so you’ll want to keep it.

If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
