TablePress causing Elementor Loading Loop

    Hello,
    we are using TablePress on the website alongside Elementor. After the latest update of the website the pages that have TablePress shortcode can’t be edited in Elementor (only if Safe Mode is enabled), it is stuck on Loading Loop. I have tried standard procedure when it comes to troubleshooting (switching themes, disabling plugins, etc.) but the only thing that is resolving the issue is deactivating TablePress plugin.

    Can you please let me know if there is anything that I can do here? Or should I contact Elementor support?

    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    That sounds strange. I know from a couple other sites that use Elementor and TablePress, and I have not received similar reports like this so far. So, I’m not sure what exactly could be going on here. Can you maybe see error messages (maybe in the server error log file) that could help us here? It might indeed be good to also contact the Elementor support team here.

    Hello Tobias,
    I have reached out to Elementor support and here is their response:

    “Have you tried contacting the developer of the plugin causing issues with the Elementor editor? If not, you may reach out to them and report that there is an incompatibility with Elementor.”

    I assume this doesn’t help in any way.

    I have also checked the error log and it’s empty.

    Hi,

    well, yeah, that doesn’t help at all 🙂 and sounds more like a standard response where they want to offload support…

    Can you maybe describe those redirects/loading loop some more? What exactly is happening there? Are URLs loaded multiple times? Does this happen with all other plugins deactivated as well? Have you seen this before (e.g. with TablePress 1.14)?
