At first I couldn’t seem to get the table header on my page to align with the rest of the table. I know this is an issue for lots of people because of the specific theme they are using.

Deselecting the horizontal scrolling option fixes the issue. However, this also disables the tablepress responsive collapse plugin that I have set for smaller screens for mobile and such. So when I use a mobile device, the table doesn’t scroll and the collapse feature doesn’t work. I’d rather not disable horizontal scrolling if it’s going to take away functionality on mobile devices. But I also want my header row to align with the rest of the table.

Are there any solutions to issue?

    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

I see what you mean, but unfortunately, I’m not aware of a solution for this at the moment 🙁 It seems that the current version of the DataTables JS library has problems properly calculating the column widths when the horizontal scrolling is used :-/

I’ll try to release an update soon that will hopefully fix this.

    Regards,
    Tobias
