• Hello,

I just installed the free version of WPvivd today. I followed the steps to create a backup on Remote Storage, but I keep getting the following error message: SyntaxError: Unexpected token ‘<‘, “
Error “… is not valid JSON

I’m not sure how to resolve the issue. Any suggestions?

    Thank you!

    Hello @kjhatzi ,

This error indicates that the AJAX response returned unparseable content—often an entire page generated by security plugins or services like Cloudflare. You can press F12 to open your browser’s developer tools, run the backup again, and when the error pops up, check the AJAX response content under the Network tab. Please copy and send that response to our support email (support(a)wpvivid.com).

To ensure efficient tracking of your thread, we kindly ask you to include the link to the thread in your email.

In the meantime, please check if you are using Cloudflare or any security plugins. If so, try temporarily disabling them and running the backup once more to see if the issue persists.

    Kind regards.
