syntax error, unexpected ‘weu_smtp_config_page’

    When trying to activate this plugin it gives this error:

    syntax error, unexpected ‘weu_smtp_config_page’ (T_STRING) in /wp-content/plugins/wp-email-users/wp-email-user-smtp.php on line 1

    What is the cause og this? Something on our side?

    @mhertog Sorry for late reply but if you are trying to upload plugin or a particular file using filezilla it changes indentation of original file so you have to change filezilla settings else you can edit the file and indent that file properly.

    You can follow this :

    In FileZilla 3.5.0 the setting is in Edit > Settings > Transfers > File Types > Default transfer type > Binary.
    OR
    In FileZilla 2.2.32, go Edit > Settings > File transfer settings > ASCII/Binary. Set it to always binary: that should do the trick.
