syntax error, unexpected '{' in installer.php

    Hey, I have similar problem. First downloaded duplicator package from wp admin to my computer and uploaded with filezilla to ftp. Got an error “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected… ” I tried also to move installer file from xampp`s wp-snapshot directory stright to ftp, still same error. what should i do? Thanks!

    Installer.php was being written in a corrupt way. My solution to this is to grab the installer.php from the wp-snapshots directory, copy and paste its contents to the installer.php that you downloaded. The installer.php in the wp-snapshots directory will be prefaced with 8_28_14_avenueinnslo_53ff60f0625d21231140828170344_installer.php – in my case. Yours will be specific to your date and site.
