• Hi all,

I’ve recently started blogging for the first time whilst I’m travelling. As internet time is relativly expensive for the budget traveller I was looking for a way to write my blogs on my laptop and synchronise them with my server copy of the blog.

I’ve done a forum and google search and whilst there is *some* information with regards to the above there doesnt appear to be any detail of a simple way of achieving synchronisation.

I’ve looked at offline blog editors (i.e w.bloggar etc) however these dont seem to offer the level of flexibility I need.

I want to be able to run a local copy of wordpress and with a (few) clicks of the keyboard / mouse upload my changes to the server site.

The rationale for having a local copy is that I want to be able to use various plugins (DM Albums, Photo Galleria etc) and preview a page fully prior to posting it.

    Any ideas???

    Some information:

    Server:
    Windows 2008 Shared hosting
    Non-wordpress hosted

    Local Machine
Windows 7 Starter (based on a netbook)

Hope you can help. All the best

    Ahmad Ali
