I recommend against updating .pot files unless you are the plugin author, or you know exactly what you are doing.
See https://localise.biz/wordpress/plugin/manual/templates
If the sync button is disabled then this suggests the plugin is not set up properly. If you want advice on this I need a free download link to the plugin you are translating.
Can i send you think link in Private or should i post it in here?
Everything on here please.
Here you go
Your plugin (which is commercial by the looks of it) uses 7 text domains. WordPress standards are that a plugin should use one. The other 6 need configuring if you want to translate them. Have you read the documentation on this? See the section on adding subsets.
So what they are telling you is that the rightpress text domain contains the strings you are interested in. The
rightpress.potsync button is greyed out because it is not configured (as explained above). But do you really want to sync it? Why? Are you actually just trying to translate it?Correction: it has 3 text domains. 4 of them are filed under “_old_version”.
Its a pretty new topic for me. So i don’t know how to change it. Still I don’t get smarter with your help. How I’m suposed to change it? The “Translation subsets” documentation still doesn’t help me at all.
What is wrong with the documentation? What have you tried? Have you gone as far as clicking “Add set” and entering the details for rightpress?
I dont know where to put this details. As i said before im new in this topic.
You enter the details in the bundle configuration. So from the bundle overview screen click the Advanced tab.
You need to enter the text domain and file prefix which are both “rightpress” for Rightpress. then enter languages/rightpress.pot as the template.
Hey, i did evrything as you said. I changed month to “Monat” but it still doesn’t show.
Is there any other Set?Hey, i did evrything as you said. I changed month to “Monat” but it still doesn’t show.
My plugin only saves the translation file. Have you created a translation file? Has the editor done its job of saving the file where you asked it? If so, check with the Subscriptio support why your translation file is not used. Tell them where the file is and what it is called.
Is there any other Set?
Yes. I already said there are three, but you were told you can translate month and other time labels from rightpress and you found the string you were looking for. The third text domain seems to be related to PayPal and doesn’t seem relevant.
Yes i created a translation file. and yes everything worked out fine in the right path.
I have contacted the rightpress support.I FOUND A FIX!
Oh damn. Now I know I did nothing wrong.
I changed the WordPress language to German (formal) not standard GermanThan I created a new Translation in LOCO und named the label it to “Monat” in the Rightpress.po file. (as i already did in normal german)
That’s it. It seems that the normal German doesn’t work with Subscriptio / LOCO but I don’t know why.

Loco Translate does not care what language code you save your files with. It works the same either way, but it’s up to you to save the right langjage according to your WordPress settings. Standard German in WordPress has the code “de_DE”. If you saved with this suffix, then I don’t see a problem. If you saved as just “de” and set your WordPress language to “de_DE” then that would be an error on your part. I’m not saying that happened; just that this is how it works.
If you find a fault with the editor then please post it. In the mean time I’m marking as resolved.
