Apart from WordPress.com telling me that svgs are not one of wordpress’ supported formats (which of course we know) im wondering if you know,

Is your plugin being used successfully on any sites hosted at wordpress.com?

Ive uploaded the plugin, but i get an error when trying to upload svgs to the media library…not the typical upload error:

“1 file could not be uploaded because an error occurred while uploading.”

The files are saved with the proper xml header.

Hey, well that is certainly interesting!
To be honest I have never used it with wordpress.com so I’d have to spin up a site there to test and play around.

I’ll be working on the plugin very soon, so will add this to the list to test. Things have just been outta hand for me lately and I haven’t been able to spend enough time on this. But I’m almost there.

I can’t even test without signing up for a business plan with them unfortunately 🙁

I dare say that the .com version may have heavier restrictions on using SVG files. But it’s hard to say. And I can’t find a way to tell if it is installed on any wordpress.com sites at all.

Sorry I can’t be much help here.

Might be worth contacting their support, or spinning up a self hosted wordpres.org site.
