    Thanks for the suggestion! I have added this to my issue tracker. I will investigate what is required to add support. I believe there can be security concerns with SVG’s which is why WP does not support them natively either.

    Hi Steven,
    I already use SVGs in my Theme and also in another Plugin to display our logo at the Coming Soon-Page. For the support I installed the SVG Support-Plugin by Benbodhi.
