Can you delete the user from the Users section of your blog’s Dashboard?

Thanks for being very helpful.
As you can see in the link below, the Users page shows 2 administrators. The top one with the picture, ‘IslamWest,’ is me. The one below, ‘Username,’ is the culprit that I need to get rid of. But whenever I select the box to the left of the culprit below, ‘Username,’ the box next to mine, ‘IslamWest,’ also gets automatically selected, along with box for the culprit, ‘Username.’
Apparently, the culprit who tempered with my site arranged it this way so I wouldn’t be able to delete his entry.
Would you know how I can?
Thanks again.

I don’t see any link below. Could you re-post it?
I think I know what’s going on, but would love to see a screenshot before I say anything for certain.
Actually, let’s do this backwards. I’ll upload a screenshot. 🙂
Take a look at https://cloudup.com/c3s5C0NAoiW
Is that similar to what you’re seeing? If so, you have nothing to worry about. Those top and bottom rows are just showing you the heading of the rows. The checkbox is a box which checks all the users in one click.
It makes a bit more sense with more than one user. 🙂
Exactly like this, James. I tried to attach my screenshot, but this format doesn’t have that option.
Now, when I click the box left to the bottom user, the box to the left of top user, in your case “James” the “Administrator,” gets automatically selected. So if I try to delete the user at the bottom, I’d end up deleting my own entry as well. Isn’t that right?
Thanks, James, for you effort to help me.
Mustafa
Right, “Username” at the top and bottom are just the titles of the columns, they aren’t users themselves. 🙂
If yours looks just like me (with your name and image of course), you only have 1 user. 🙂
My only concern about the second Username is whether someone can use it to access my site. At the top left of the page, it says there are 2 Administrators, but in the actual entry (the one below mine), the Username is designates jut “Role,” not “Administrator,” as mine mentions as my Role.
Thanks.
Hm, ok then, would you please provide a screenshot of what you’re seeing then?
You can upload it via Media -> Add New in your blog’s Dashboard, then just give us the URL of the image file.
