Support for WP_Term_Query?

Hi,
sorry if this question has been asked before, but I couldn’t find anything conclusive regarding paginations options for WP_Term_query.

Is there any chance that wp_pagenavi supports a different Query object other than WP_Query? I’ve tried passing my term query to wp_pagenavi as a “query” parameter but it’s not working.
