The current version of Media Library Folders does work with WP 5.6 and a new version will be released this week. Are you having any issues with the current version?

I love the plug in and have been using it for 3+ years now.
When I updated it recently, it failed to update, after that the site started throwing an error. Then I noticed that it was not tested yet with 5.6, so I rolled back to a back up and haven’t updated it since.
Today I did an update again. And it looks to have worked.
I think your latest update was out.
