UPDATE: Sorry I forgot to mention that I’m using the html 5 player.

The sound quality is really good and the player plays all my mastered audio tracks with ease.

But setting the player up is a nightmare. Assets and templates are super difficult to use.

I love the chapters feature, but getting anything to work you need to hire a developer because everything is locked behind templates with mass amounts of code and it’s the templates thats needed to add functionality to the player.

Im not a developer. I just want to showcase my podcast episodes and all those huge html coding is very intimidating. I’m scared to do anything because I might screw up my site.

Your help pages is no help at all. You just plaster all the templates with code on 1 page and you don’t say how to use them.

Where do I paste all those code? Do I add it at the bottom of the default template?

Do i create a new template and paste it there? What happens with my current template will it get overriden because I can’t see a way to select multiple templates for my show?

How do i get the play button to be smaller, it’s giant on mobile devices, and how do I put it inside the cover image instead of having it hang around like those on your podcast page?

Why do you let us add cover images for each of the chapters but they don’t show in the player?

Your podcast page shows a player widget in the footer. How do I add that cause your help pages/documents doesn’t say how and there’s no setting for it.

Your donation function doesn’t work. It’s not showing the PayPal thing.

Shownotes don’t work in the player eventhough I activated the module in settings. It’s very weird that the summary shows under the shownotes tab but you have a separate dedicated section for shownotes without the option to actually add the shownotes apart from links which don’t work either. Everything typed in summary must be 1 block. Paragraph breaks won’t display anything after the paragraph break it gives the dotted line.

I have multiple shows, it’s throwing all of my episodes from every show under 1 brand name and doesn’t show the podcast show name at all. It’s extremely confusing for my audience because they don’t know which shows episode their listening too. You can select the show button in the meta box till your fingers fall off, it does nothing.

In the post editor, “an error has occured” pops up all the time everytime I try to save the episode. It shows when I fill in the metabox. When I refresh the page nothing is saved eventhough wordpress showed draft saved, however it displays right in the preview screen.

Your player only works with new uploaded audio. I have changed that folder setting till im blue and I still get “file not found” message. Only thing that worked was using your default path and re-uploading everything through your player. It won’t recognize anything in my media library otherwise. If I try to pick anything from my media library it gives the file error. Before I have to mess around with cpanel just to get my images and audio to work, I’d rather uninstall your plugin. Like I said, I’m not a developer and won’t dare mess with anything that needs a developer. I can’t pay someone to make your player work everytime I upload a new episode!
