    I believe it came when I updated to WP 4.5. In any case, with WP 4.5.1 and TinyMCE Advanced 4.3.8 the text color button is gone. It’s no longer in the editor, and no longer in the settings page. I even added all buttons, just to verify it’s not a presentation issue of the button itself.

    It’s not mentioned in the release notes, but I just updated to version 4.3.10 and my sweet little text color button is back. Color is life.
