Summary function not working

    I have the Hemingway theme installed, and the excerpt function set to be showing only 10 blogposts and for each of them only a summary/excerpt on the frontpage.

    However it shows the entire post for all blogposts on the frontpage – not just the summary.

    Can anybody point me to why this setting is not working.
