• How feasible is it for me to compact long blog entries into a single link from my journal to the specific entry? I’ve noticed that this feature is available in most blog programs, so I’m sure that there’s a tool to use here. I would like to be able to offer a summary in an entry, and then a “Click here for more information” link, which links directly to the entry/comments page. Thank you for your help!

  • Have your looked around in your admin panel > Write > Write Post section?
There is a “more” button that breaks the text where inserted and displays a “read more…” link on the frontend.

I don’t see that “more tab”– sorry for being dense, where on the page is it?

Your “more” button is up on the button panel just above the box where you type your post. It looks like a little white rectangle above a dotted line and a longer rectangle. If you mouse over it says “split post with “more” tag” and gives the keyboard shortcut ( Alt-T ).

    Hope this helps!

Ok, I’m feeling a little silly now, but I still don’t find it. I have, in order from left to right:
Bold Italicize Underline Strikethrough Color Palate Highlight Erase Outline Bullet Outdent Indent Alignment keys
    Next row:
Link Unlink Insert Image Edit Image Smiley Cut Copy Paste Dictionary HTML

So I’m pretty sure that the icon you mentioned should be there within those other options, but I’m feeling a little goofy. I’m sure that it’s right in front of my nose. I just don’t see it.
