    Hello people,

I would like to leave a suggestion for you.
You have an inline commenting feature where a window opens with a question and a field for the user to comment.
In this same scheme, we could also have the possibility of offering a Survey scheme, similar to Hotjar. However, this Survey would not be based on a part of the text, but on the entire site, or in a category or a post.
For example, let’s say I want to know what users are thinking about my site, so I create a survey question (eg, What are you thinking about the site?). Or I could also create a survey question for only one category, that is, it only appears on pages and posts in a certain category (eg, What do you think about the health category?). Or I could also create a survey question for just one post (eg, What did you think of that post?).

In a survey, I could create as many questions as I wanted. And when the survey window was open for the user, the number of questions and an arrow to move from one question to another would appear..
The answers to the questions, could be text or alternatives.
And those answers would be kept in an admin panel. We could even create questions with alternative answers, and those answers would be saved together with their statistics to know how many users selected alternative 1, how much they selected alternative 2 and ect.

    Thank you!

    Hi @vejapixel,
This is a nice idea. However, this doesn’t have direct relation to the comment plugin. This could be developed as a separate plugin. We’ll take it under consideration for sure.

Yes yes, it could be a separate plugin. The important thing is that the plugin is light so as not to hinder the loading of the pages. After all, the resource is simple, the user clicks on the balloon, link, button, a window opens with questions, the user answers and that’s it.
You could also give us the possibility to insert this survey anywhere on a page (header, footer, sidebar, inside the post, …). And for that you could offer links and shortcode to insert anywhere.

For example, I may wish to create a button in the header where the user, when clicking, opens the survey window. So, I create a survey, it automatically generates a specific link for that survey, and with that I insert this link in the button I insert in the header.
Another example, I could create a button, insert it in the sidebar and insert a survey link. Or insert a survey link within a post (in an anchor text). Or I could use a survey shortcode to insert it in the sidebar or inside a post, and the survey frame automatically appears.
Another example could also be a balloon where I could determine where it would appear (bottom left or right, top left or right, center left or right).

And also the possibility to customize the survey (background color, text color, radius, …).

I hope we have that in the near future. 🙂
