@mpek
Just checking on a live site running WP 4.6 and I was able to add the API key into the plugin settings and it saved fine.
How many compressions have you used this month?

I’ll check that, but will it loose the key if limit reached?

I used “0” this month. Nothing so far. What now?
@mpek
Do not think it would. When you have reached your image compressions for the month then any new images would not be optimized.

That’s what I thought it would work. Strange the API key gets lost by the system. What would explain why the key is lost and not accepted anymore other than the conversion limit? I’ve got the latest version 2.0.2 running.
Hi mpek,
could you please let us know what version of PHP and Curl you are using? We are working on a new release which contains bug fixes that might also solve this issue. You can already test it by downloading development version of the plugin.
To install it:
– uninstall the current version of the plugin
– download the development version from: https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/tiny-compress-images.zip
– click “Upload Plugin” on the “Add New” plugin page
– upload the zip file and activate the plugin
Let me know if you have any questions and if the plugin is working now.
Hello,
i have had the same problem.
New installed homepage, PHP 7.0, WP 4.6, new API Key.
After installing your development version, it works!
