Sudden Poll Failure

    This is the poll on the site homepage. Absolutely nothing has changed, but as you can see if someone tries to vote, the following appears instead of the current votes for each option…..in othet words, just the heading and the current poll title. No plugins have been added, no changes to the home page have been made.

    Could you please send us the following information so we can check the case further?

    • Poll Maker plugin version
    • WordPress version
    • PHP version

    Also, could you please let us know if you are using any caching plugin on your website? If yes, please try clearing the cache and then check again.

    No caching products in use….

    Dear @peterdean,

    Thank you for sending the information.

    As far as we understand, the poll shortcode is currently placed inside a widget or block.

    Could you please try removing it from there and placing the shortcode on a new empty page instead?

    Please check whether the poll results work correctly on that page and let us know the result. This will help us understand whether the issue is related to the widget/block placement or not.

    Still no joy I’m afraid. Been into the plugin settings and the vote is actually counted but the resulting display is failing (as I am sure occurs when you try it on the site….

    Thank you very much for your patience.

    We have identified the cause of the issue and will fix it in an upcoming update.

    For now, please go to Results Settings and set the Show results by option to Bar chart (Google), as shown in the screenshot below, until the issue is resolved.
