Sudden Database size increase after backup

    Hello,

    My database size suddenly increased (7mb -> 26mb) in one night. A database backup was scheduled that night.
    I noticed the increase with the Backwpup logs. There were errors, mail was too big to be sent due to gmail attached file limitation.

    This problem occured the night my host deactivated my mail() PHP function.
    Is Backwpup plugin somehow causing this DB size increase ?
