• The new revised version works great. Surprisingly free. I would actually pay for this plugin, prob $10-$20 easily.

I had a issue where I had to resurrect a site, and was using wp easy migration, only to learn they force you to upgrade to an $80 full version for backups over 500GB.

Anyway, wp-clone to the rescue and it helped me restore previous zip jobs that I generated with older versions. Worked flawlessly with this one, which is awesome. Keep up the good work!

And this worked on my vps running php7.1/hhvm. Restored it pixel perfecto!

What is the problem you are having and if it “sucketty suck sucks” why did you leave a 5 star review?

Doesn’t work. 5 stars was from it having worked in the past. Tried on several sites.

Doesn’t work anymore. I loved using this plugin. Afraid to update to WordPress 4.5.3

Do I need to update wordpress to get it to work? Should I take the risk

So did I! It was pretty tight.

I think you’d have to downgrade for it to work, not the other way around. Or try an alternate plugin to see if that works.

If you DO try to see if this one works, what I did was download the zip file it generates, unpack it. Copy the sql and dump it into your phpmyadmin, and just copy over the wp-content folder to your wp. It wasn’t as good as wp clone did before but close nuff.

If your server is using PHP7 then maybe the new version 2.2.3 of the plugin released yesterday will solve your issue? Works well for me now with WP 4.6.1 and both PHP5.4 and 7.0
