Subtitle usage tracking in Google Analytics

    Is it possible to track basic subtitle usage with this plugin? For example, track when the user triggers the subtitles (as they’re off by default) and when they turn it off (if at all). I looked at the documentation, and it seems like it might be possible through manual event and cuepoint edits, but this is beyond my level of expertise at this time.

    Hi Besweet,

    Thanks for your question. It would be possible to set up this kind of tracking but we don’t have subtitle use tracking yet. We do offer a deep Google Analytics integration which might allow you to get subtitle usage data as well.

    I can see how it could be useful but for now it wouldn’t be particularly high on our roadmap. Currently we are working hard on releasing a new database version of playlist management (right now playlists are managed via shortcode).
