Subscription box not always visible

    Hello! I installed a “get new posts by mail” button (Follow.it) at the top of the right sidebar. It showed up when I checked, and it works (I subscribed a friend who is not computer-savvy, and she did get the notification).
    HOWEVER: The “get new posts” button doesn’t show up when my daughter signs on. It also doesn’t show up when a friend out of state signed on. Visible to me (and some others, including at least one reader), but not visible to others.
    The pop-up box was done as custom HTML in the right sidebar.
    (I was successful in getting a Follow.it icon to appear at the bottom of each post, and this also works.)
    Any idea why some people can see the “get new posts by mail” button but others can’t? I would appreciate any help you can offer.

    Could I kindly ask if;
    1) Your site’s been set-up to have different versions that are geolocation based?
    2) You could kindly try clearing your site’s cache, see if that resolves the issue of visibility?

    Dear Efe: Thanks for responding so quickly! I don’t know whether my site was set up for “geolocation-based” versions. How could I find out whether this is so?

    I will have to look up how to clear my site’s cache.

    Were you able to resolve the problem on your end, maybe with clearing the cache? 🙂
