Subscription

Hi all,

I’m new to WP and just started my first site. I’m trying to get a subscription list going where visitors can sign up and get email updates from the site. My question is what are the best methods for this? I originally had the Jetpack plugin and was using their subscription. One thing I don’t like about this is that when I make a new post it sends the entire post to a subscribers email where they can read it and have no need to go to the site. I also looked into Mailchimp. This seems like a good one with a couple of drawbacks. One is that it has a cap on the number of subscribers you can have for free. Secondly, they require my address and contact info and send this out with the update emails. I don’t want my personal info emailed out. I’m new to this. What subscription services would you guys recommend?
