subscribers problem

Hey i create a blog site and i have create a new “testing” user to try use the comment function. It works fine.. you can reply to an articles.

the question is i want to the user to be able to create their own articles.. how do i do that?

and second thing… how can the registered use their own face or avatar as their picture for posting and comment
