What happened leading up to this? Where their any recent updates, or is all of your WordPress Plugins and versions up to date? Are you using an email that is using your domain name for your email (example@johnswriting.com). Who is your host? have you spoken with them about any issues that might internally be going on? (PS I used to work for BlueHost)
There’s always updates–to WordPress core and to Jetpack. Hard to pin down a time when I first became aware of it. Everything is up to date. Not sure the point of your question about email name, but I don’t have an email address the same as the domain name for my own subscription and I am unaware of Jetpack offering a choice to administrators on handling subscriptions–they do it all through their system; opt in, etc. The host should have zero to do with the problem; I have other sites on the same host without this problem. Plus I previously did the whitelist of all Jetpack/Wordpress.com urls that they say their processes need to run through for JSON to work. As someone previously told me from Automattic, there are just some sites that Jetpack doesn’t work 100% completely. This is probably one of them. I’m not holding out hope. But WordPress does have more efficiency and working features than Joomla.
I ask about the host because, sometimes it can be related. But it sounds as if its not in this case since its working with other websites on your hosting account. I have been seeing around the forums, issues related to a recent update, it maybe that, but it could just be what Automattic says, in that it doesn’t always work 100% with all WordPress sites. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
I had to do a workaround using another means to get excerpts from posts on this site to appear on the other site.
Could you let me know a little bit more about how you are generating posts on your site? I just want to make sure that I understand the process that you’re following.
In addition to that, can you try using our beta plugin? You can find a download link and instructions here:
https://jetpack.com/download-jetpack-beta/
The beta plugin includes some fixes our developers have been working on for these kind of reported issues. As a result, using it should likely cause these problems to be resolved.
Once you install and activate the beta plugin, go to Jetpack -> Jetpack Beta and choose “Tagged Beta Releases” and make sure the “Auto-Update Jetpack when new betas are available” is checked and click the “Save my choice” button.
After you’ve installed it, can you let me know if any of your current issues persist? If they do, please reply back and we can dive back into the problem.
Once we have a new release of Jetpack that addresses these problems, you can deactivate and delete this plugin.
Please let me know about the above, and we can go from there!
Hi!
I’ve also experienced the named problem, that my Blog-Subscribers didn’t received their mails (including myself..). I’ve also tried to reconnect to Jetpack, Debugging status shows no problem.
I’ve done the Beta installation, but unfortunately Subscriber Mails still not send.
Do you have another advice?
Kind regards.
@carstenmeiselbach Sorry to hear the Beta didn’t help. Could you post your site URL here, so we can have a closer look?

Hi,
its’s https://happycarb.de/
Thanks in advance.
Hi again,
today I’ve done another posting test, this time it work with our Subscriber Mailing.
I’m still running one Version 4.3.2-beta2, no change since the last test on.
If you changed something in between for your servers: it worked for me, but I will take an eye for the next posts.
Kind regards,
Carsten

I haven’t changed anything on our end, but he Beta might have triggered a new snchronization of your posts and solved the issue. Let me know how it goes with your next posts!
Hi,
Seems I am having a similar issue. However I installed the beta last Friday and published two posts meanwhile: http://eiswuerfelimschuh.de
For both no email was sent to my subscribers.
Do you have any advice me, too?
Thanks a lot.
Kind regards.
@eisdin Your site doesn’t seem to be properly connected to WordPress.com at the moment. Could you try the following:
1) Go the Jetpack menu in your dashboard
2) Click on “Disconnect Site from WordPress.com” at the bottom of the page if your site is currently connected to WordPress.com.
3) Confirm the disconnection.
4) Click on the Connect button to connect your site to WordPress.com again.
If that doesn’t help, can you please use Jetpack’s Debugger module to send us some more information about your site?
1) Go to the Jetpack page in your dashboard.
2) Click on the Debug link appearing at the bottom of the page.
3) Click the link that says “click here to contact Jetpack support.”
4) Fill in the description box and your name and email address.
5) Click the “Contact Support” button to send us the debug results privately. It’s best not to post this information on public forums, as it contains private details about your site.
Thanks!
Thank you very much, Jeremy. I followed your instruction without a change unfortunately and contacted the support.
Hooray, the update to Jetpack fixed the subscription problem. I updated this AM and received my four most recent posts in one fell swoop.
