Sorry? Can you explain what you mean by “none of my subscribers are getting the blog any more”?
Well when I look at the stats – they don’t show any hits on that page and I sent it out to several hundred subscribers. I am one of them, actually, and I didn’t receive it.
Didn’t recieve what exactly? An e-mail you sent out or something, if so via what? You can’t literally send a blog
I have a subscription service; people can receive the blog either by email or a post to their Yahoo, etc. site. When the blog is posted its immediately sent to them.
Isn’t this a very common practice amongst blogs?
well….I haven’t heard of many people doing that, but whatever works for you!
Also, are you sure they are not getting your updates? Maybe you want to set up some dummy account, and subscribe to yourself and see?
The stats will only show if someone comes to your actual page….so if they get an update through some subscription service, and read it, but don’t come to your site, no stats will show. And since they are getting the blog stuff through their email, maybe they see no need to come to your site for the same info?
This is of course purely speculation, like I said, maybe you should test to make sure the updates are coming through first
