Subdomain Migration

    Hello,

    I have a wordpress multi-site with a number of university clients. A school currently changed their branding and needs their URL updated. Can I use this plugin for a subdomain on a multi-site WP? Basically, I need the californiastateuniversity.myuvn.com website to be copied onto a different subdomain of myuvn.com. EG LongBeachStateUniversity.myuvn.com.

    Please let me know if this will work and if there are any additional steps I need to take. I don’t want to risk messing up the database or anything for our 40+ sites.

    Hi @kaitlynbpayne,

    The free version does not support MU sites and the pro version only supports certain migration scenarios (details can be found on the website). Whatever route you do take I would make sure you try the migration on a test/sandbox area to make sure it goes smoothly before trying it on a live site.

    Hi @jakours2,

    With Pro MU All licenses can backup & migrate a WordPress standalone and full Multisite. Multisite Plus+ (business plan) can also install a subsite as a standalone site.
