Subdomain does not have any styling

Ive created a subdomain that is a copy of my main domain. It works fine except that all its pages and my wp-login page have no styling. I have found some information about this that says I have to change my .htaccess file but my present .htaccess file is empty.

Can anybody help me with this issue?
