It probably is, but how to do that depends on where exactly would you like to display it?
I want to display this shortcode [adverts_categories name=”Catalog” show=”all” columns=”4″ sub_count=”100″] on the page. Main categories must be visible, but subcategories must be hided, for example you are interested in “Business” category, below the main category must be link or button “See more” or something like this, the you clicking and subcategories appear with dropdown effect. Any advice.

I am afraid WPAdverts does not have such functionality, it would require some custom programming in order to add it.
Usually, i can help with the code snippets, but in this case, unfortunately, the amount of work is beyond the free support offered here, sorry.
You might also try looking for a plugin that allows displaying Custom Taxonomies in a grid, i am not sure if there is any plugin that does it though.
