Sub category, Custom category, location, etc

Hello,

I love the simpleness of Search & Filter. I am in the process of making a website and I would like to use it.

I am wondering if I can add filters like
1. One category with searchable sub categories (For example, I have a page showing all posts from 1 big category, which has 4 different sub categories. So I want to use this plugin for people to filter the posts and have an option to show posts only from 1 sub category)
2. Separate custom tags like locations, job types, etc. (For example, I want to show “location” tag, which has different locations like New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, etc, etc)

Right now, the search shows ALL categories and ALL tags so it includes filters that has nothing to do with this page, too.
