They should be both displayed and available for filtering by default. Do you have a link to your site so that we can check if they’re being hidden somehow?
It’s in draft form not published yet so I’m not sure this will show?
Let me know If I need to publish it for you to see it.

I have been working on this catalog for several weeks now without sub categories showing. Upon return from lunch today they are visible? No clue. I realize you were unable to see the catalog and you fixed it anyway! Hopefully this continues to show. Thank you, Jim Callaham
