Stylesheet refers to localhost with Xampp

I have a local install of wordpress on a webserver using Xampp. It works fine on the local box.

When I view this from another box on the network the appearance is completely wrong. This is because the source code for the page is referring to “localhost” for the paths to the stylesheet, etc.

I obviously need to change a config somewhere so the web server serves up it’s name or IP and not just “localhost” – where do I change this.

(disclaimer – yes I googled extensively for this – found the problem but not the solution…
