Styles plugin mainly blank / no controls

    Hi,

    When going to the styles menu I initially only get the menu items in the left hand columns, the right hand side where the controls / buttons should be is completely blank, no associated controls appear. I can ‘find them’ if I move my mouse about over where they should be (the tool tips pop up), and then when clicking on one e.g. gradient the control then does appear. Changes I make in the plugin are reflected in the site.

    I’ve just done a completely clean WP install with 2011, and using no other plug ins and the issue remains, any assistance would be appreciate.

    It is behaving like this in multiple browsers? Or which browsers specifically? Is it just the controls that appear when you click, or do you then see the icons associated with the tooltips as well?

    I’ve tried it in Chrome / IE6 / FF7 and it seems to behave the same. I do see the icons too when hovering over them (assuming they are all standard pale blue squares by default). I’ve tried it on a clean install on a different site and had the same result, although they were both with the same hosting company, so assuming similar config.

    I think I found the cause. This would occur if your WordPress install was located in a subdirectory, like site.com/wordpress/ or if wp-content were moved to any alternative location. I’ve updated the plugin in version 0.5.2 to account for this. With any luck, updating the plugin in WordPress should resolve your problem.

    Thanks, I’m glad you’re happy with it. With any luck, we’ll be refining the user interface soon, then adding support for more themes. If you have time, give it a rating on the plugin page!
