Style single post like posts page

I would like some assistance please with styling the plog single posts. I am very happy with the way the post looks on the posts page but when you click on the post title the single post page format is not what I want. I would like the title to be aligned with the content as it is on the posts page, and the metadata to be visible underneath (right now it’s defaulting to white for some reason, both the author, date and their respective icons). Also there is a ton of whitespace between the title/meta and the content.
